I'm a pediatric occupational therapist with five years of clinical experience supporting children and families across a wide range of developmental, neurological, and sensory needs. My background spans pediatric, adult, and geriatric care — and that breadth allows me to see the whole child, not just the presenting challenge.

My husband and I moved from Florida to the foothills of the Smokies with a clear vision: a life where our children could run wild in the woods, explore freely, and grow up rooted in something real. Watching my own son thrive through connection with the outdoors deepened what I already knew professionally — nature isn't a backdrop for therapy, it's a powerful part of it!

The ConTiGo Approach™ (Connection & Transformation in the Great Outdoors)

is widely regarded as the gold standard in nature-based pediatric OT training. This certification means we aren’t simply taking therapy outside — every session is grounded in a structured clinical framework of research evidence, assessment, and intervention best practices specific to the outdoor environment. Nature is an intentional therapeutic tool here, and families can trust that what happens in our sessions is purposeful and held to the highest standard of nature-based care.

🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 A relational, strengths-based approach

At the center of my practice is an intentional relationship model. I believe that meaningful connection — between therapist and child, therapist and family, and child and the natural world — is not a nice-to-have. It's the mechanism through which real, lasting growth happens. I lead with what your child can do, celebrate who they are, and build a plan around their unique strengths. Every family I work with deserves to feel truly known — not managed.

🙏🏼A note on faith

My Christian faith shapes the way I show up for the families I serve — with gentleness, humility, and a deep belief in the inherent worth of every child. For families who share this foundation, I warmly welcome faith-based elements into the therapeutic process. For all families, regardless of background, you will find a practice grounded in care, respect, and a genuine desire to walk alongside you.

Our kids need real childhoods, connection with nature, secure attachment with caregivers, & freedom to play!
