Join us Saturday, March 7 10:00-11:30 for a morning of play for children ages 1-8 and their caregivers to explore, create, and move together—welcoming the year with joy and intention!
Led by a licensed pediatric Occupational Therapist, this event blends evidence-informed developmental supports with the wonder of child-led, nature-based play. Families will enjoy:
🌿 Nature Sensory Exploration
Hands-on invitations to dig, pour, build, gather, and discover. Children will use all their senses while engaging with natural materials that support self-regulation, fine motor skills, and imaginative thinking.
📖 Seasonal Story + Group Movement Activity
A cozy nature read-aloud paired with playful whole-body movement to encourage coordination, rhythm, and social engagement. Perfect for warming up bodies and strengthening caregiver-child connection.
🎨 New Year–Themed Creative Crafts
Open-ended, nature-inspired art activities that spark creativity and celebrate fresh beginnings—like wishing wands, nature crowns, or intention stones. Each craft is designed to promote fine motor skills and self-expression.
🤝 Caregiver + Child Connection
Intentional prompts and playful routines encourage mindful moments together, building confidence, communication, and co-regulation in the outdoors.
