We are unlike any other OT clinic, in all the best ways! We value connection as our top priority to ensure that your family receives the support that you deserve!
Our treatment sessions are all held in natural, outdoor environments that evoke curiosity, calm, and confidence in the kids we serve. This method of treatment has been backed by hundreds of scientific studies that prove that nature is a powerful therapeutic tool to help restore attention, build social skills, cognition, coordination, and self-confidence!
We uniquely offer group therapy services where you child will have the opportunity to learn valuable social skills with the support of an expert therapist to help them build skills like teamwork, emotional regulation, problem-solving, etc.
We partner with parents to train and equip you to understand and support your child’s development!

If you are interested in enrolling your child in one of our OT Groups, please submit your application linked at the top of your screen.
You will be able to select your preferences of time, day, and locations that would work for your family.
After the application deadline, we review all applications and form groups based on ages and needs of children who applied.
After review of applications, you will be notified if your child is offered a spot in a group. You will then have 48 hours to pay your deposit to confirm your child’s spot. If you do not reply, we will move to the next child on the waitlist. If your child is not placed, they will remain on the waitlist for upcoming openings in groups.

No. We value all weather play! We will be carefully watching the weather and will cancel services if there is inclement weather that may become hazardous such as lightning or severely cold temperatures. Each family will receive a guide that outlines our weather guidelines and appropriate outerwear to ensure our kids stay safe and are dressed appropriately to experience all the elements.

We are a private pay therapy practice and do not accept medical insurance because we desire to provide the highest level of individualized care that is not afforded under a traditional insurance based model.
If you have out-of network benefits through your medical insurance, we offer superbills (paid-in-full invoices) upon request, if you choose to submit to your insurance after services have been provided.
Adjusted pricing and/or scholarships are offered when funding is available for low-to-moderate income families. Please reach out if necessary to inquire more about our scholarship process.

Each week, our group OT sessions are customized to address the needs and goals of the children in the group. No two groups are alike!
Sessions typically consist of both structured activities and unstructured play. Structured activities may include group games, creative projects, crafts, or making natural whole food snacks. During these activities, we structure activities to support the development of your child’s social skills, attention and fine motor coordination while promoting connections with the other children in the group and with nature!
We always include time for supported free play, giving kids the chance to explore and interact on their own — with guidance and support from the therapist.

If your child is enrolled in one of our group OT programs, we ask that they attend the weekly group without their caregiver. The goal of our group therapy model is to provide a supported peer play based model.
We offer monthly caregiver consultation calls to specifically address any new concerns and review your child’s progress in the groups. Additionally, you will have access to the weekly documentation from each session.
Conversely, If your child is enrolled in individual OT services, caregiver participation is required! For children needing individual support, it is important that caregivers play an active role in keeping our sessions playful while providing opportunity for coaching from your therapist during each session.

Group OT programs are only offered per semester to provide the greatest results for your child and family!
Many of the skills that we help our kids achieve are built from consistency and relationship that is built overtime.By providing our groups in a semester long format, we allow the kids to build deep connections with the environment that their group meets, the other children, and therapists. This provides the rich and meaningful experience that sets Wild Roots OT apart!
